Oops!

Once again, I have managed to break a perfectly good laptop. Last time I stepped on it. Well, I don't think I stepped on the laptop, I think Jeremy stepped on it. The shoe print that was on the laptop looked suspiciously like Jeremy's shoe, but he blames me. Regardless, the screen ended up with a large crack through it. Jeremy eventually bought me a new one when he found a good deal. That was July of 2006. Last night I had my laptop charging on top of the clothes hamper. I was trying to be good by not leaving it on the floor to charge, and not out where the kittens could chew on the cord. I thought I had learned from my mistakes. Wrong!!! I trip over the cord, knocking the laptop off the hamper and break the charger off inside where it connects to the laptop. Oops. For taking so many years of dance and looking so graceful, I sure have become a clumsy person! Back to the point, my broken laptop. My wonderful husband comes to the rescue again by taking my laptop to Fry's and buying a new charger or the laptopand fixing the port. Maybe this time I will have learned my lesson for good.

Christmas Review

Christmas was awesome! Good food, good family, and good presents. However, now that it is all over, Jeremy keeps telling me how spoiled I am am. He says he got me Kittens, a new Car, and a House for Christmas. Wrong! I am spoiled, but Kittens, a Car and a House were not my Christmas presents.

The kittens were technically my Birthday present.

Jeremy and I have wanted to get Kittens since we got married, so he got off easy by giving me kittens as a Birthday present.

My car was needed so we can have children. Strapping a Child in a 2 door car is not my idea of fun or practical, so the car was a necessity.

The house was for both of us, and I contribute to the mortgage, so the house is not a present! I have a feeling I am going to be hearing that our house is my Anniversary/Birthday/Christmas present for the next 30 years!

Here are my favorite REAL presents!
(from my Mom and my Mother-in-law)

Books! A little Jon and Kate plus 8 and The Tales of Beedle the Bard. Enjoy It! by C Jane can be found here.

Last but not least, my Crocs!!!

Merry Christmas!

My wonderful Husband and his Father put Christmas lights on our house last weekend. Amazing!I never would have thought that Jeremy would go through all the trouble of putting up lights!

Here is a close up of our pathetic little Christmas tree. We have to have a little one because of the kittens. We don't want them climbing the tree. They haven't climbed this little one yet, however they like to play with the ornaments! I am so tired of putting them back on, which is why the tree looks a little silly.

This is what our front room looks like now that we got the new couch in the family room. I'm not too fond of the plaid, but everyone tells me they look good with the color of the room. For free couches they are in excellent condition. Thanks Grandma & Grandpa Walden!

Sleeping

At the Johnson household, we like to sleep a lot, as evidenced below:

Otis & Mya after a good cat nap. They still like to cuddle. What good siblings!

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving was a pretty small event this year. Jeremy and I spent it with his family which consisted of Mom, Dad, Grandma and Grandpa. We ladies decided to take each others pictures so there would at least be a few pictures.

This is Jeremy with the insides of a party popper hanging from his ear. Jasen, Jeremy's nephew, sent us Thanksgiving goodies which included party poppers, mints, and a note from Jasen. Grandpa apparently didn't know what a party popper was. He pulled his in the middle of dinner and the insides landed perfectly on Jeremy's ear. It was hilarious! A fun time was had by all.
