Jeremy has been teaching his friends how to ride their new bikes. That is pretty much all I have to say.

House update 06/25

Sorry there aren't any pictures. We haven't had any time with moving and the funeral. We are officially out of our rental house as of today. Hooray! Moving was hard work, but now we have our cleaning deposit to look forward to.

Our new house has a garage door and locks as of last Saturday! If we want to see the inside, we have to go during business hours, but after the workers are gone. So we will probably only be able to see it on the weekends. : (

Johnson Family Loss

Jeremy's Grandmother, Grandma J, lost her battle with lung cancer yesterday. She made it to 83, which is quite an accomplishment. She will be missed.

I hate packing!

I really do. I am sitting in our rental, on my first day off of work in eight days, packing by myself! Grrr! Jeremy spent the last three days moving furniture and packing while I was working, but he had a friend to keep him company. Any one wanna help? :)

We are moving!

Not to our new house, but in with the in-laws until our house is done. Why do you ask, are we moving 2 months before our house is done? Because someone tried to break in, again. We are tired of watching our neighborhood grow ghetto-er by the day. I would hate for someone to actually get in. They almost did this time! Good thing Jeremy was so paranoid that he put a lock at the top of the door. It was the only thing that kept them out. The good news is, they stuccoed our new house and taped all the walls. I will post pictures if I ever get a chance between working, moving, and the slow interent in the country. For now we will again be in Wheatland. If you need our new address, just ask. Our cell #'s are the same.

House progress as of 6/09

We arrived home on Monday early enough to go see the progress on our house. It is a good thing we did, because as of today, the sheetrock is up ad it looks completely different! We are glad we were able to get pics of the insulation as we paid for extra - every wall in the house! It was nice to actually see it before it was covered up.

Home Sweet Home!

We are back from our trip to Vegas. It was a ton of fun. Thanks to Greg for letting us stay at his house the first couple of nights, and to Bart and Tami for all the wonderful food and fun!

We went to the Playboy club friday night!

Jeremy's parents flew in on Saturday. We went shopping at the Forum Shops and the Venetian. That night we went to an Italian place for dinner. The food was so yummy!!!

Sunday was Bart's birthday. He and Jeremy did the Richard Petty driving experience at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. We had to be there at 7:30 am. It was early, but a lot of fun.

The guys had a blast. Jeremy said the first lap was terrifying, but after that it was awesome! We met up with Greg for lunch, then the guys went to a shooting range.

We went to Hank's Fine Steaks and Martini's for dinner. It was a five star restaurant and it was awesome! We were so stuffed we could barely walk. It was a great trip!

Viva Las Vegas!

Jeremy and I drove to Vegas last night after work. The reason for the trip is Jeremy's Dads 50th birthday. We came a few days early to spend time with my brother Greg. We arrived this morning around 5:30 am. Jeremy wouldn't let me sleep the whole drive, so I could keep him awake! We slept until 11:30, but it didn't help much. Today has been spent napping and eating. Tomorrow should be more fun!

Pre Drywall

Jeremy took these pictures at the pre-drywall inspection. Next time I post, the house will look completely different. The insulation will be in and sheetrock will be up!

You can see some of the surround sound wiring in the photo above.
