Happy Birthday Charly!

Today was my niece Charly's 1st birthday! I was lucky enough to go to her birthday party at McD's. Here she is being her smiley self.

The after look! We had fun, even though I was only there for a 1/2 hour on my lunch. Notice there aren't any pictures of Joce? That is because she was busy playing! I am going to enjoy having the girls and Anne here for the next few weeks.

House update 07/27/08

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. I took them on my phone and didn't realize that the sun was that bright. Anyways, the poured the driveway and the porch!

They also finally finished the roof. Our walk through date is the 19th of August and estimated move in date should be the 27th. Jeremy and I picked out paint colors on friday. If anyone wants to help us paint, just let us know. You are more than welcome!

Swap Time

Lately I haven't done any scrapbooking because of the temporary move. It is too hard to try and find the supplies I need, so I usually give up before even starting. Tonight I forced myself to at least design one of the swaps I needed to do for Close To My Heart. So here is what I came up with:

Simple but cute. With this bright of paper, I didn't want to do anything too over the top. Just a simple 9X9 layout. Plus, since I made them for a swap, it is hard to do a title, since you don't know what the recipient is going to do with it.

Shutters have been added, as well as the light above the garage. The forms are up for the porch and the driveway.

An Oldie but Goodie!

Okay, so its not that old. This picture was taken a few days after Christmas in 2007 at Cabela's in Nevada. Jeremy, his parents, grandparents, Greg and I headed there in the motor home just to check it out. Poor Greg had hernia surgery a few weeks before, so he was pretty tired after our little excursion. Here we are sitting waiting for Bart to pull the motor home around. We could have walked, but it was snowing and I was freezing! I love Jeremy's face in this picture. He rarely takes a "normal" picture next to me! Good times!

House update 07/12/08

There has been a lot of progress this week!

The outside has been painted.
